Those students who have completed ITI / Diploma should be eligible for training. Training period should be for a period of three years and upon performance and vacancy the trained ITI employee can be made permanent. A max of 250 trained professionals can be hired by the company and a minimum of 10% people should be made permanent as per rules.

Apprenticeship is a very critical bridge between academic knowledge & actual skill . Hence this is a very good topic .

For vocational and skill education apprenticeship is most important. Private companies should cooperate ITI and Diploma students to give training to them. Sometimes students move here and there but they don't get any opportunity to be trained professionally.

We are seeing unemployment levels of all time low because of lack of synchronization between educational institutions & industry, it would be useful if Industry provides short term & long term job market skill demand projections to academic regulator like UGC & the same is like wise assigned with some buffer to all institutions. Inspite of huge demand in experienced staff, there is always hesitation to hire Freshers, govt. can link Freshers stipend to CSR & it needs to be at least min.wages.
