We should reuse electronic waste, it will be economical. Govt should support companies who are recycling. Givt should exempt or minimize taxes on refurbished electronic products. Also most of the electronic waste is produced by small toys so try to avoid made in china electronic toys it contains li-ion battery which is harmful alongwith that if a toy stop working in few days then usually people through it in garbage which is very harmful. Govt should run a campaign to aware citizens to recycle.

With changing consumer behavior and rapid economic growth, ASSOCHAM estimates that India will generate 5.2 million tonnes of e-waste by 2020.

Electronic waste is a global problem, in India we have tendency to sell even the last scrap and the scrap dealers are neither trained nor they are interested in disposing the non-usable and non-cycle materials. Finally it goes to scrap yard taken away by govt bodies. It’s their duty to dispose them as per the norms but do they follow? Will they follow? I don’t think they care

recycling of electronic waste could bring more advantages, as India can become the no1 in recycling and reusing of Electronic goods.Rather than depending on other countries for Electronic goods and items, we can make our own, and establish Make in India as a bigger initiative.
Thank you

Make housing societies mandatory to carry out e-waste collection, segregation and disposal with help govt or semi govt organization. Provisions by local bodies in terms of educational and execution of the e waste. Loc bodies should be trained and NGOs to be trained and allowed to be participated. Micro level audit and ranking to be provided for each society, village, taluka, town, panchayat, zilla, state level
