MeitY is seeking comments from citizens on the Draft Report on Circular Economy in Electronic Waste.

It has drafted an action plan report which provides recommendations on feasible solutions of circular economy transformation in the e-Waste Sector based on best global practices.

The recommendation includes the entire value chain of the products including raw-material acquisition, design & manufacturing of components, consumption, end-of-life, and recycling, and recovery stages, secondary raw materials, circular economy evaluation indicators, etc. to ensure

•Security of critical materials
•Product-life extension
•Responsible disposal
•Strengthening Recycling Systems
•Sustainable Manufacturing Process

First of all it should be made compulsory that all electronic Goods last for at least 10 years. Manufacturer should give warranty of 10 years. secondly like vehicle once warranty of 10 years complete get it repaired and extend warranty for 5 more years if at all it is running then extend for 3 more years. this way one product will run for almost 18 years and Will be less electronic waste

Respected Sir , The following suggestions should be proved as successful towards Electronic Waste . 1. The govt should work on technology to recycle the electronic waste . It can be done by collaboration with Japanese company to create a latest technology . 2. The govt should focus how Electronic Waste can be overcome.3. There should be used of Particles from Electronic Waste . 4 We need to compaign for Electronic Waste so that people understand how this is used and in which manner.

Exchange of old devices at the time of new purchases should be encouraged or incentivised. The companies can reuse or recycle these old/ discarded electronic waste.

electronic waste is plastic and other waste. this is completely recyclable.E waste had every household,but companies who are manufacturing are responsible than too on ours.LG i had a case where i tries to do, but LG service centre is abounded.

recycling is the open option but they are very scattered ways to get recycled. my opinion on this point is make goverment collaboration with the company's whom the actual product belongs and get a main hub where the expert or technician can get reviewed and check to get the good parts from the device that might be used by the company again, where else an online platform can be prepared to get e waste in return to the customer with points scoring number revert back the gift item.
