As a person from academia, I find the gap between fresher and corporate enterprises overwhelming. I believe that establishing intra university enterprises (software companies, assembly units, etc) and make the students work for those companies at part-time to learn skills and gain real time practical experience would be an appropriate solution. The companies shall get abundant workforce and minimizes training cost with this method.
