I would like to suggest promoting modern and effective tree plantation methods like Seed Bombing and the Miyawaki method to encourage public participation, especially among school children. Seed Bombing involves making small balls of mud and compost with seeds inside, which can be thrown on barren or hard-to-reach land. It is cost-effective, covers large areas, and is ideal during the monsoon. Schools can conduct seed bomb–making activities and distribute them to students to make tree plantation fun and educational. Similarly, the Miyawaki method can be used to create fast-growing, dense forests in small urban spaces. It’s a proven technique to green cities quickly and efficiently. I request you to promote these techniques through Mann Ki Baat so we can inspire people across the country to participate in plantation drives with creativity and responsibility.
