In such a situation, some people come after drinking alcohol and fight with their wife and children and abuse them every day... Due to this, money, health, mental state are all being ruined... As a senior citizen I have managed my finances very well and never had to borrow money. I have never needed a Credit Card & managed all expenses using a Debit Card. My Credit score (CIBIL score) is therefore zero. These days, however, some websites and online stores require a Credit Card and do not accept Debit Cards. When I applied for a Credit Card with several banks (including those where I have an account held for several years) the application was rejected purely on the basis of credit score. It seems that Banks only provide Credit Cards to those who borrow money and repay it on a regular basis & do not consider customers who manage their finances without having to borrow or rely on credit. Hence Debit Card spends do not count toward credit worthiness even though the holder ACTUALLY has enough money in the Bank. Can you please get Banks to consider customers that actually hold money in their Banks as being credit worthy?
