I supported the BJP government believing development would respect nature. Reports of forest clearance in Chhattisgarh and actions affecting the Aravalli hills are deeply disappointing. Citizens of a democratic country like India give trust and votes knowingly—we are not blind. The same people who give power also have the power to question and take it back. These decisions need serious rethinking and accountability.
