I wish to highlight serious ground-level failures in Gajapati district, Odisha (Gosani Block). Civic sense is missing in society. It must be introduced as a compulsory, practical subject in school curriculum. Without this, missions like Swachh Bharat remain ineffective. Swachh Bharat Mission implementation at block and village level is extremely poor due to lack of monitoring and accountability. Local administration has lost credibility. The Sub-Collector and Tahasildar are perceived to be hand-in-glove with land mafia, making governance ineffective. Complaints to CMO Odisha move very slowly. Basic infrastructure failure: Our village road (approx. 3 km) has no street lighting, causing safety risks from accidents, snakes, and wild animals. Officers cite “no funds,” while the Solar Department has estimated ₹6 lakh for 30 solar street lights, which remains unapproved.

there could be a session on how india and trinidad and tabago are culturally connected since our dear pm visited it and was awarded the Order of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, the country’s highest civilian honour. It is precisely because of its uniqueness that this country is different, as the tradition of Ramleela is documented and is an integral part of the country’s intangible cultural heritage, with uninterrupted performances going on for over a century. Moreover, Indian Arrival Day is also celebrated as a national day, which means that the tale of Indian indentured Indians is imprinted in the collective psyche of the nation. Apart from institutions, Indian customs have also merged with the way of life of Indians in Trinidad and Tobago, which include music like Chutney, Diwali, and Phagwa celebrations, and food practices.

respected officials this side saesha a class 12th student while reading about some unique weaving styles and textiles of india this handloom day i came across sometjimg called toda embroidery. Toda embroidery of the Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu, may be suggested as a Mann Ki Baat topic as it represents the resilience and dignity of India’s indigenous heritage. This GI-tagged tribal craft, marked by red and black geometric motifs on white fabric, reflects the Toda community’s deep cultural relationship with nature and tradition. In recent years, initiatives such as Shalom Ooty and design collaborations have revived this art by linking it to sustainable, women-led livelihoods. Women artisans, including nonagenarian Pongeri Pattima, are now able to earn independently rather than rely on family support, while others use their income for education and improved quality of life. The craft’s revival inspires national pride and reinforces the spirit of ‘Vocal for Local’.

this side saesha a class 12 student while reading abou some beautiful stories about textiles and weaving designs this handloom day i came to know about something called Toda embroidery from the Nilgiris. It exemplifies how India’s cultural identity and women’s empowerment can grow together. The Toda embroidery is an age-old embroidery technique, passed down from generations in their community, and was given Geographical Indication Protection in 2013 due to its uniqueness. Today, "social enterprises such as Shalom Ooty are directly reaching about 200 Toda women, many of whom are senior artisans today, to develop a sustainable livelihood out of it by encouraging them to produce embroidered articles such as scarves, bags, home décor products, and even paying them promptly, even during the pandemic period." With this activity, women such as 99-year-old Pongeri Pattima are able to achieve their goal in earning independently without leaning on anyone within their families, while those who hav

हम केवल A.D. और B.C.
