With small mindful changes, we can protect both faith and nature: • Reduce plastic use in rituals and promote biodegradable materials• Compost flowers instead of immersing them; provide composting and waste bins near water bodies• Discourage or ban POP idols; encourage small clay idols and use designated immersion tanks• Offer milk symbolically as naivedyam and distribute it among the needy instead of pouring it into rivers Our traditions teach respect for nature.
