Hi, In Bengaluru City, still many railway level crossings exist which the Rail dept is not taking any actions to eliminate them thus causing huge traffic jams & delays on a daily basis & during school & office timings. Classic example is in the Nayandahalli - Kengeri Section LC 9 & Lc 10 are most congested. Despite land being earmarked for ROB beside L10, no steps are taken to construct a ROB in lieu of LC10. What are the challenges & why is SWR not taking any actions to eliminate these 2 level crossings?

Letter to PM Modi for Railway Line Vk News, Belagavi Railway activist Amit Nimbalakar appeal An urgent request has been submitted to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to immediately approve and sanction the new 269 km long railway line via Shedabal-Athani-Vijayapura-Sindagi-Shahabad-Wadi route, by railway activist Amit Nimbalakar in a letter recently. The demand for this railway line has been pending for many years, and the fact that it has not been implemented so far has caused great dissatisfaction among the people of this region. Businessmen, farmers, senior citizens, students, and people from various sectors have been waiting for decades for the approval of this project. The survey work for this route was completed in 2010-11, and the technical and economic importance of the project has already been agreed upon by thinkers, dignitaries, social workers, and public representatives of this region. The state government has promised to provide necessary cooperation and all.

Since the January 25, 2026 episode falls just one day before Republic Day and focuses on the theme of "150 Years of Vande Mataram," here is a draft speech for a citizen or student participation event. You can adapt this for a school assembly, a community gathering, or as a script for a video submission to the NaMo App. Speech Title: The Spirit of 2026 – From Vande Mataram to Viksit Bharat Respected elders, teachers, and my dear friends, As we stand on the eve of our 77th Republic Day, we are not just celebrating a date on the calendar. We are celebrating the heartbeat of a nation that is younger, bolder, and more self-reliant than ever before. The Power of Our Roots This year is special. We are celebrating 150 years of "Vande Mataram." When Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay wrote those words, they were a prayer for a free India. Today, as Prime Minister Modi often reminds us in Mann Ki Baat, those words have become a pledge for a Viksit Bharat (Developed India).

prime minister Narendra Modi led a minutes' silence in Bihars madhubani to honour victims of the Pahalgam terrorist attack on April 22, which killed 26 tourists in Jammu and Kashmir. Addressing the nation,Modi vowed to pursue and punish terrorists globally asserting India's resolve against terrorism. He chanted 'Om shanti' and expressed solidarity with victims' families. Following the attack, the cabinet committee on security imposed stringent measures, including suspending the Indus Water Treaty, closing the Attari checkpost, and expelling Pakistani military advisors.

Civic discipline is a foundational requirement for Viksit Bharat. Clean, well-maintained streets and regulated public spaces directly improve AQI, reduce vector-borne and respiratory diseases, lower healthcare costs, and raise urban productivity. This can be achieved through micro-level ownership (building/street responsibility), incentives for compliance (awards, prize money, priority civic services), and strict, uniform enforcement. Private operators can handle daily monitoring and operations, while government retains enforcement authority. AI can be used for real-time litter detection, illegal dumping alerts, traffic and parking violations, and performance dashboards, ensuring transparency and scalability. As UPI transformed financial behaviour through simplicity and repetition, the same model can institutionalise civic order nationwide. Respected PM, please make this a national priority

Respected Sir, As we celebrate Republic Day and the legacy of Vande Mataram, I request you to speak to students about "Modern Patriotism." How can a student in 2026 serve the nation daily beyond just studying? Please inspire us to take up one social cause—be it digital literacy or helping the elderly—as our tribute to the nation this year. #MannKiBaat #VandeMataram
