Nano Urea has been provisionally included in Fertilizer Control Order (FCO) 1985. In the preliminary trials, Nano-urea spray on different crops gave comparable yields to those obtained under fully recommended doses of fertilizers, with savings on top-dressed nitrogen.

Nano Fertilizers hold great promise for application in plant nutrition because of their size-dependent qualities, high surface-to-volume ratio, and unique optical properties. Nano Fertilizer releases plant nutrients in a controlled manner, contributing to higher nutrient use efficiency.

In this context, participate & send your ideas regarding innovations in the Fertilizer Sector, which can help increase farmers’ income.

Last date of submission is 14th February 2023.

Precision Agriculture: Using precision agriculture techniques, farmers can get real-time information on soil fertility, plant health, and weather conditions to optimize fertilizer application and improve crop yields. Bio-fertilizers: Developing and promoting the use of bio-fertilizers that use natural processes to provide plants with essential nutrients. Smart Fertilizer Management Systems: Using technology like sensors, GPS, and cloud computing to optimize fertilizer application and minimize waste. Nutrient Recycling: Promoting the use of nutrient recycling systems that capture nutrients from animal waste and other sources to be used as fertilizer. Alternative Fertilizer Sources: Exploring alternative fertilizer sources such as compost, green manure, and food waste to reduce the dependence on synthetic fertilizers.

Every grampanchayt allocate some space (viz dried pond, barren land ) to collect as much as possible fallen leaves and biodegradable wastes and let convert it to fertilizer. This fertilizer will be used by villagers or can be sold.

In fertilizer sector home made fertilizers must be given more attention. Students bringing to villages/having fields must be encouraged to showcase their talents in this line. It will spread no pollution and also garbage or peels of vegetables/fruits will be wisely and widely used.

Nanofertilizers offer benefits in nutrition management through their strong potential to increase nutrient use efficiency. Nutrients, either applied alone or in combination, are bound to nano-dimensional adsorbents, which release nutrients very slowly as compared to conventional fertilizers. This approach not only increases nutrient-use efficiency, but also minimizes nutrient leaching into ground water. Furthermore, nanofertilizers may also be used for enhancing abiotic stress tolerance and used in combination with microorganisms (the so-called nanobiofertilizers) provide great additional benefits.

Innovations in the fertilizer sector, such as nano-fertilizers and precision agriculture technology, hold great promise for increasing farmers' income. Nano-fertilizers can improve nutrient use efficiency while precision agriculture helps reduce fertilizer waste. The promotion of organic fertilizers and training programs for farmers can also support sustainable agriculture and reduce costs. Governments, private sector companies, and farmers can all play a role in supporting these innovations.

Sirs, as a agriculture based country with very vast potential to produce food, grains, pulses, fruits, vegetable, spices, beverage, oil seeds, fisheries, dairy to mention a few, we have to consider putting them all together to augment Fertilisers and to do that, mixed cultivation and composite farming, where ever possible must be sponsored more and more, by spreading necessary knowledge through online and extension services of agriculture Universities and Research centres. Lots of work is being taken up in a variety of ways that has brought about huge harvest as this year grains production is above three hundred million tonnes, with various other produces New India assures world food security. . there is one area, value added products and the wastes therein, .lots of plant material, for green manure, can be grown on in fallow land, barren forests land, roadsides, hills sides, .all these are valuable fertilizer, added to other production as nano neem coated urea, compost, etc.
