Nano Urea has been provisionally included in Fertilizer Control Order (FCO) 1985. In the preliminary trials, Nano-urea spray on different crops gave comparable yields to those obtained under fully recommended doses of fertilizers, with savings on top-dressed nitrogen.

Nano Fertilizers hold great promise for application in plant nutrition because of their size-dependent qualities, high surface-to-volume ratio, and unique optical properties. Nano Fertilizer releases plant nutrients in a controlled manner, contributing to higher nutrient use efficiency.

In this context, participate & send your ideas regarding innovations in the Fertilizer Sector, which can help increase farmers’ income.

Last date of submission is 14th February 2023.

I have a unique idea about fertilizer revolution: Add nano urea, urea, dap, mono phosphate etc in 10th syllabus as a chapter in science. There should be practical of nano urea in the kitchen garden of the school. Regards Dr Mahender Kumar Lecturer chemistry Gsss Rattakhera Fatehabad Haryana

where is the comparative of use world's best v/s India. we could not reduce consumption even before innovation. spurious /adulterated fertilizer, seeds galore like in other areas - Governance sold out & customers suffer. Heard we have plastics selling as vegetables, fruits, cereals, rice , wheat. How was India a granary of the world for many centuries. where did the technique vanish . Teaching agriculture, gardening to all in schools when will we see agrciutlure universities, research deep inside the villages, how building those in metros tier 12 cities help with hardly any agriculture land . Comparative Y punjab products the worst inspite of the best irrigation Y only a few areas, farmers commit suicide. should not government concentrate their 1st Not seen 1 attempt to conserve water. Y sugar cane rules & changing import/export , low yields . coperative sector dadagiri ! when will MSP/acre equal for all crops ! Village Cluster Cooperatives economies of scale !

Nano-urea is sprayed on the plant leaf. These are particles of 20 to 50 nanometers. They get readily absorbed by the plant, and release nitrogen inside the plant. They also stimulate the enzymes involved in nitrogen metabolism inside the plant cells and boost the protein content, chlorophyll content and the nucleotides such as RNA content or DNA content.

liquid nano urea is the first of its kind in the world, and India holds its patent. There was one patent publication on the related term, but it had a different process, use and application. Among agriculture fertilisers, this is the first.

A  500-ml bottle of liquid nano-urea priced at Rs 240 replaces 45 kgs of conventional granulated urea priced at Rs 266 with subsidy (Rs 3966 without subsidy), saving the cost of transportation, storage space, import and subsidy costs for the government. Unlike conventional urea, it does not emit nitrogen-based greenhouse gases such as nitrous oxide into the atmosphere and has proved to be less polluting in manufacturing and applications.
