Nano Urea has been provisionally included in Fertilizer Control Order (FCO) 1985. In the preliminary trials, Nano-urea spray on different crops gave comparable yields to those obtained under fully recommended doses of fertilizers, with savings on top-dressed nitrogen.

Nano Fertilizers hold great promise for application in plant nutrition because of their size-dependent qualities, high surface-to-volume ratio, and unique optical properties. Nano Fertilizer releases plant nutrients in a controlled manner, contributing to higher nutrient use efficiency.

In this context, participate & send your ideas regarding innovations in the Fertilizer Sector, which can help increase farmers’ income.

Last date of submission is 14th February 2023.

In my opinion there is a need of digitisation of fertilizer sector through the launch of app in all the other sector of agriculture are attached where farmers can locate fertilizer shops, MSP for their yield, better and comparable price and common complain system so that they can get timely fertilizer which will increase crop yields and more and fast returns on their yield and by this way cost of cultivation will decrease and profit will increase which result in more profit and may also be helpful in doubling the income.

Educated/ lightly educated farmers abusing land with wide usage of pesticides, insecticides so on despite knowing they are harmful. Unfortunately in main parts of India ( keeping north east aside) , pests are major cause so the farmers are forced to use all sorts of chemicals. While these chemicals help greater yield, other side pushed India into Cancer hub. If risk group are tested for cancer screening, we find atleast two in ten are positive . So it must be collective effort to go natural way with chemical alternates
