My suggestion to Respected Finance Minister and Railway Minister in charge that my Government can SAVE 500+ crore per annum from its annual budget just by withdrawing the travelling allowance for central government employee on duty. "Daily Allowance is paid for official journey beyond 8 km from headquarters, based on the duration of absence from headquarters." The kilometer should be enhanced to minimum 25km to 50km and the daily allowance should be paid in actual rather than in 30%,70% or 100%. as present now.
