There is no felicitation programme for women achieving or working for the betterment of society like teachers in school and colleges, a researcher, who are not recognized for their hard work in improving the future of children. Only the highs and mighties are felicitated not the common women. Bringing in such acknowledgements at the national level would not only boost their confidence but will also motivate others.
Women from different fields can be chosen for their outstanding work.

As a student in this country, I have a few concerns.
1. Eve teasing is on an all time high. Better police services and quick PCR responses will help.
2. You have the my govt app. Women should be able to input their info while travelling alone in an unknown vehicle, so if something happens, can be easily traced. Pizza apps can locate us in seconds. Why not the govt app?
3.I studied in a reputed school yet teachers would raise questions on a girl's 'character'. More open minded teachers needed

Equal partners/equal rights/equal opportunities will remain slogans till something concrete and practical is not done.
1) All schools to be made coeducational compulsorily. No separate school or shifts for boys and girls.
2) Girls and boys must compulsorily sit together i.e. one and one girl and not in separate rows.
3) To be introduced from new admission
3) All colleges to be compulsorily coeducational
4) One month military attachment for all children of class VIII.

Legislation and police force are needed, but only these cannot ensure justice, security and empowerment for women. It is the mindset cleansing which is vital. Citizens need training and guidance at home, schools and in society at large for prevention of crime and injustice, women must be respected as foundation of humanity not as inferior or plaything; and women also not indulge in falsehood for greed or revenge. Serious attention to this aspect, lacking for decades, is warranted .

The cases of rapes and violence against women in our country is on a steady rise. The police force is also inadequate to reach out to every nuke and corner of India's massive demography. My suggestion is to invite volunteers and train them to show vigil in such situations. Many a time in such situations of rape and violence the public who are witness act blind towards it instead a vigilant effort could have stopped such unfortunate event from happening.

Lets have a policy wherein women with small kids can have an option of working for half day even if that means that they are paid half of their salary. This would empower them to both work as well as raise the kid with right cultural values. This will also help them in maintaining their dignity and pride.

Respected Representative,
I seema Ashok Singh would like to draw your kind attention towards the talent of the lady teachers who are not attached to any school or university but rendering their services efficiently by taking tuitions and making a difference in the results of many students .If the government can provide some recognition to boost their confidence then it will be a great start. I believe teaching is a way of life,it is a GOD gifted talent.

Although I feel a lot has been done in the field of education and enabling women but a few areas are still much of a concern for even the most empowered women
1. Security while travelling to and from work
2. Balancing work and family when they experience motherhood due to nuclear family set-up.
3. Discrimination at work place. Finding a job is not a problem but retaining it is , for women.
The maternity benefits need to be carefully decided and implemented all across equally.

Dear Ministers,
With all these policies you always ask for, but in my opinion they are one sided and biased in name of women empowerment. You make thousands of laws/polices in name of women empowerment but ensure that your efforts are not destroying indian culture. Because the way u r trying to follow the West will definitely create a war beteen women vs men. So, better respect ur post and think in broader aspect. Y no law for any misuse of laws by women in 498a DV Crpc125 adultery 376 377
