This policy completely neglects the effects of such Empowerment over the Indian Family.
We know what the situation is in courts when it comes to false DV cases and women trying to misuse the law to get money and harass the inlaws. The children suffer because they loose either father or the mother.
Why is the fact of Indian Men committing suicide because of such cases not taken into consideration while drafting this policy.
How can the ministry be Blind to one side and focus only on the other?

Appreciably, the Government has come up with a National Policy for Women after 15 years, which gives nuanced practical solutions to existing problems and identifies emerging problems. But disappointingly, the policy is less confrontational on sexist power structures, systemic violence and inequality making it silent on many gross realities like marital rape, acid-attack, missing girl children, sex-selective abortions, declining rural-female-labour-force-participation, lack of sex-education etc.

Violence against women related- in the police station when victim of domestic violence women goes that time always police said its your family matter do not register the case. My stand for this is that every crime case to be registered in police station.
Second issue of single women govt should provide support for them. safe and securied atmosphiere in the family, in the society and workplace.

I have written to MoWCD , increasing number of female judges or number of family courts will not serve any purpose if the judges (yes even women) are given training to be more gender sensitive. All judges - mahila courts, family courts, criminal courts need to be given training to be more gender sensitive.compulsory video recording of all proceeddings in courts will help a lot.

Bring stringent procedures for misuse of law being done by women in today's society because not just men are a victim here but millions of innocent women who are falsely accused are victims. These abuses are becoming more and more in the society because there is no strict punishment for women abusing the legal framework and system. Why should a women not be jailed for 3 years for falsely accusing a man and his family incases like DV and 498A? MEN undergo domestic violence SAVE THEM.

In a nation so huge and great, MEN legally are cheaper than animals(even they have a ministry). Treat MEN as HUMANS and save them by creating a GENDER NEUTRAL SOCIETY. EMPOWERMENT comes from equality, honesty and strong character and it does not come when one is provided tools of loosely written laws and other can become a victim of misuse of law. We are moving towards a HIGHLY GENDER BIASED society where MEN have no place and this needs to STOP. PROMOTE GENDER NEUTRALITY.
