Greater protection and empowerment of women especially with intellectual disabilities must be given priority. Sadly women and girls with disabilities face unsanitary conditions, risk physical and sexual abuse and experience involuntary treatment. Recommended to take prompt steps to shift from institutional care to voluntary and vocational community based services giving them more dignity and a chance of a meaningful livelihood. Also they must be heard and allowed to participate in governance an

even today more educated women are being abused by their in laws. women should be supported morally & they have to be mentally strengthened. our laws which involves police should also take immediate action if such women approaches the station.

Give more tooth to the NCW. Sexual harassment at the workplace is still rampant across industries and verticals. And given the fact that NCW lacks any real teeth, a predator seldom worries about the consequences. Which means, it is the woman who not only loses face, but loses her job. Not to mention, her future career prospects plummet as well (she is the tainted woman that no one wants to hire). #DraftNationalPolicyforWomen2016 #WomenEmpowerment #MyGov #MinistryofWomenandChildDevelopment

Only when respect and cordiality become a part of a psyche can we say that women are safe in our country. Violation of womanhood has become a part of our everyday lives. Only when a gruesome Nirbhaya case or Jisha incident takes place do we come alive as a nation to protest. Gender equality should be practised in every home and every firm. Politeness and courtesy should become a part of the Indian culture

Marriage is a social set up which puts even the well educated and financial independent woman also into the cluthches of violence, mental if not physical. A solution apart from going to court should be provided as family reputation comes in her way to fight for her rights. If it is not in the legal frame work that all these can be achieved, efforts should be put in changing societal norms and mentality of people.Awareness through advertisements, media should play an important role in this regard

women are misusing laws made for their protection and well being. males are forced to commit suicide view all laws are against men and favouring women. this has created an imbalance in our social environment. women are filing false case of rape, molestation, dowry, domestic violence just to take revenge and for want of money. very few cases are true. a policy should be formed that if a women is proved to filed false cases then law should take strict action against them.
