The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) was established in 1963 as an autonomous body under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry to contribute to the skill building for the external trade sector of India. It has come a long way to successfully develop into a remarkable institution that imparts knowledge through research and training in international business, trade and Economics.

Draft Bill, including a statement of objects & reasons, for converting IIFT into an INI through an act of Parliament.MyGov and the Department of Commerce solicit comments/suggestions/views from the general public on the draft Bill for conferment of INI status to the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT).

Last date of submission is 12th February 2023.

The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) is a leading business school of India. Established in 1963, it works as an autonomous body under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India. It also functions as a civil services training institute. Its main campus is in New Delhi and new campuses are in Kolkata and Kakinada. It was granted "Deemed to be University" status in 2002.[4] The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has recognized IIFT as Grade ‘A’ Institution in 2005 as well as in 2015. IIFT was ranked 11th best B-school in India in 2020. It was ranked 1st in India in D2C Competitive B-School Awards in 2021.

BILL to declare all the Indian Institutes of Foreign Trade to be institutions of national importance with a view to empower these institutions in attaining standards of global excellence in international trade (management and international economics) and allied areas of knowledge, and to provide for certain other information. What is the objective of Indian Institute of Foreign Trade? IIFT was set up with the following objectives: Impart professional education in modern management techniques relevant to international business. Enable the participants to appreciate the inter-relationship between the diverse and complex tasks of international business. The rich contributions in knowledge domain helped the Institute to earn the status of “Deemed to be University” in the year 2002. Over the years, IIFT has emerged as a national university withfocus on Trade, Economics and International Business, which is reflected in all major activities of the Institute

any business_ small mini micro from village 2 urban should be in 1 chain of transaction it's rules should be flexible so any new comere should be feel relax or doesn't load burden so happily enthusiastically can start so give assuring 2 any business that NY hurdle won't come in their way by politician or any kind of riots ets flawlessly business gonna _ merge these micro/mini/small in other sector will be count as helpful guidance eg_ in farming if attach with these of 3 solve verious of problems at early stage _India is diverse & with verity of all ki d of climate enviornment, rih food culture ,medicine plants ets use these as business opportunity especially health / farming / food in short _ besic criteria of public life eg in foreign there snow maximtime so eat packed food why not do r dry veg in packing & then cookd it so half a health by food will may, solve cause ready-made/packing food h..all having solutions just visa vis _ vice versa do in all..
