Countries like US,Canada,UK,Australia & NZ are attracting students by the droves. They have good infrastructure for the student. This is what needs to be understood. There are people willing to pay the full tuition fee for good universities with good accomodation.India has sprawling campuses that can be modeled for international students. It is a service oriented industry now.So the entire process from admissions to hostel accomodation can all be based on latest designs. Its a billion dollar business

first thing when UK degrees are not recognized then why the hell Nationalized banks will give loan. Second thing why there are so many consultancies in India who still promote UK degrees no body are stopping them. then whom we need to approach what is my career issue now... this is the reason why people don't come back to India when they go abroad

All Indian Universities must allow foreign students as allowed by American and EU Universities. Foreign students must be charged more as it is done in EU and America.

The degrees which we get should be of such standards that they are internationally recognised as they were in the past when Takshila university, Nalanda University were there. Those standards of recognition must be brought back again.

Internationalization must not be misunderstood as imitating foreign structure, policies, courses etc. Rather we should think it as raising the standards of our educational system and educational institutes and infrastructure facilities to world class levels. This should be treated as higher quality and excellence to the level of internatinal universities. The central institutions can play a valuable role in distance learning. Online courses, mentoring smaller institutions.
