We should have a common syllabus for all the schools across India. This way we can bring harmony in India. Also it will be less burden for states as they don't have to invest in Setting up syllabus. Also follow grade systems across India and any child from any state should be allowed to go to other state and study without any hindrance. Life skills should be mandatory in all schools and children should be encourages to learn and understand rather than just mugging up and pass the exam.

Skill development should be included as an integral part in Higher Education. As far as higher education in Science, Technology and Engineering is concerned, All the universities & colleges across the nation should make Industrial Exposure compulsory in the form of Internships, Trainings, Out-house Projects. Students must be encouraged to take up Internships in Prestigious Research & Technical Organisations as a part of academic curriculum, so that, they can expand their Knowledge base & skills.

Skill development should start from the child hood. I feel that the old gurukul system should be reintroduced for the child to complete his education from nursery till H.S.C and shape the child in a way conducive for the progress of country. In this way we can create skilled, Non corrupt, Patriotic, Secular, Practical, Disciplined individuals. Identifying the qualities we can also guide the individuals to focus on a particular field where he can excel and his has limitless capabilities to grow

This is a good idea but before that we should remove all teachers who are not fit for the job! There is a huge gap and demand of good teachers because all of them want to work in private tuitions and classes...Anyways have a special Skill Development subject in non-board based examinations..Skill can be anything of students choice..May be its computers/music/plumbing/electrician/craft/artist anything of their choice

skill development could be achieved only if our education system encourages practical knowledge. but being a 11 student we have to cram a lot . our practicals our outdated performed by scientists 100 years ago and of no use today . so our system should be such which should encourage practical knowledge as in education system of America. even our IIT and other exams are based on craming.

provide them with tools to handle those challenges. E.g. have better sporting facilities, provide psychiatric aid to cope with the challenges, improve teaching and testing standards, bring in a research orientation to studies, provide aptitude enhancing, etc. Just removing stresses won't help them in long term. The employability of such students is in question, industries are starved for skilled labor.
