Smart Health has to be designed keeping in mind to improve the health and wellness of our citizens. Smart Health should be able to provides comprehensive medical coverage including medical screenings, providing health care assistance and monitor various vital parameters of patients like subtle changes in pulse, respiration, heart condition, temperature and preventive warning on early onset of pneumonia (in small children) or other life-threatening problems, inside hospitals and at remote patient location including old people's home and ambulance.

What’s more in Smart Health?

• Connect any wearable or portable device to the cloud, pull and analyse collected patient data in real time
• Monitor patients at home using live video and audio streaming
• Monitor vital health indicators collected by portable devices such as smart phones and tablets
• Set intelligent emergency notifications sent to a physician or family
• Charts and diagram visualization based on data collected from health monitoring devices

We need innovative ideas on the following parameters which can be applied to IoT of Smart Healthcare Systems:-

• Inclusion of rural population in the system
• Creating awareness and acceptability of the Smart health
• Identify challenges in implementation

Your suggestions on the above topics will help us to make an integrated view and plan of action for Smart Healthcare system.

Large scale temporary migration for tertiary healthcare is a big drain on finances of middle and lower income groups, especially the poor. Lot of time, as well as resources, are spent on the same. Policy makers in India are simply ignorant about ground realities. Understand India first for formulating policies. Survey pattern of the migrations, like originating places, nature of diseases. GOI will have the answer on where to locate what kind of Institutes/ AIIMS. Can't be more blunt than this.

District level hospitals and other government hospitals should be linked with it. Option of forwarding health issues to nearest health center should be available (like booking appointment with doctor as present in hospitals like PGIMER ). Status of forwarded cases should be updated on app in a regular manner feedback section should also be present It will benefit people living in rural areas where live video would be difficult and it will increase accountability of government hospitals.

Eat Raw, Eat Fresh, Eat Local!! We will never hear of obesity, heart disease, cholesterol or hypertension ever again if we eat uncooked foods that metabolize much slower than cooked foods.

I would suggest that the latest trend of focusing on providing nutrition to the body to strengthen the immune system is a far more effective way of ensuring health and keeping away sickness that looking for new methods of cure. Medicine is not as much an answer to health as strengthening the immune system is. http://soilandhealth.org/wp-content/uploads/02/0201hyglibcat/020103toxemia/020103toxemia.PDF

Make Health Green Card just like Aadhar card for all citizens including rural one which will be useful for them in any hospital or dispensary. The card have all information about patient in digital form. Patient swipe the card to machine located in hospital and he or she will be treated there. Hospital will get payment from insurance or from government scheme.
