The Indian Nanoelectronics Users Program (INUP), hosted at IIT Bombay and IISc Bangalore, with financial support from the Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY), strives to address many of these challenges. Through INUP, Ph.D. students and faculty innovators from any university or institution in India recognized by MHRD can access these nanofabrication facilities which house more than 150 sophisticated instruments for fabrication and characterization of nanoelectronic devices. The students also receive mentorship from experts – both faculty and other senior students – about their research projects and prototype development. INUP also conducts workshops to provide information and “hands-on” sessions to explain use of equipment.

If you are a Ph.D. student anywhere in India who wishes to try out an innovative idea in the area of nanoelectronics, you can send a proposal to INUP (http://www.inup.iitb.ac.in and http://www.nano.iisc.ernet.in/inup/). INUP provides the funding, help, mentorship and facilities, but the IP of your idea belongs to you.

Very Pleased to hear Prime Minister's Radio Talk "Maan Ki Baat" on 3rd october. In this connection i want to say that Every Minister/MP MLS or Local Represntative should be encourged to do local interection Programme on Local FM or TV Channels. This will improve their communication with their own area peoplea and make more responsible towards people of India

This would help us have a huge pool of highly trained manpower for 4-5 yrs for short term projects, without the govt having to bear additional burden of retirement benefits. The regular government employees can be utilised for long term projects. This will also stop the highly despicable habit of our youngsters availing of highly subsidised education and immediately running away to foreign countries for high paying jobs. The % of such ppl contributing to national cause is miniscule.

Sir, Premier educational institutions like IITs, IIMs govt medical colleges etc are funded/partially funded by GOI and hence indirectly by taxpayers. Isnt it fair for the taxpayers to expect the people who avail of subsidised education from these institutions to do their bit for the society. I suggest that people availing subsidised education have to compulsorily render public service for duration equal to their degree else they should declare their disinterest and pay for unsubsidised education

Sports must be a compulsory subject in the elementary education . We are repeating the historical blunder in the field of sports only a few students play any game regularly. We need a transparent policy of selection , proper facilities and rigorous training. We have four years time till next Asian Games if we could multiply our medal tally by four , it would be worth showing

While Korea can produce 234 medalists out of the population of 5.02 crores , Japan 200 medalists out of 12.66 crores Kazakhstan 84 out of 1.79 crores and Iran 57 out of 7.84 crores ,we have no answer why we produced meager 57 medalist out of the vast multitude of 125 crores . If the selection is done only on the basis of talent It is not difficult to find 6 players of 7 feet plus height for our basketball team

India’s performance in Incheon Asian Games 2014 provides an opportunity to think about the plight of sports in the country. It is amazing that our country of 125 crores is unable to produce 125 gold medalists. No excuse can be given why we perform so badly in the games . It is obvious that our selection pattern is faulty.

A politician who is Hardly a 10+2 (except few) transfers a IAS/IPS who are the most qualified persons of india JUST FOR A REASON THAT HE WAS HONEST and didn't wanted corruption? DO YOU THINK THIS IS JUSTICE??????? In INDIA if we want to stop all crimes and abolish corruption i think the first measure should be to make a regulatory authority for Police which should be similar to army and they be free from any influence from any POLITICIANS. People please think is it right or wrong?
