First we have to inculcate sporting spirit from the school level where students good at sports should be motivated by increasing the sports infrastructure at every school there by we will get many professional sports person in future. It will help in organizing many competitive tournaments which will in lieu earn enough revenue for the stadiums. But for the time being only cricket does. But why can't other sports won't do. everything is possible by starting infrastructure development.

A simple way you can generate revenue for a stadium is by organizing a trip with a ticket in which people can see the stadium's history and know how it functions everyday like how's the pitch maintained, what are tools used etc.
