Food is the basic need for spectators. Provide a food kit of good quality of food during the match period with a disposable bag. No body will mind it's cost.

Organize lot of sport activities, increase participation from all class of society, charges for using complex, lease some un-used area to cash rich schools for their activity, make arrangements for other sporting activities (indoor/outdoor), promote healthy participation, ask corporates to take part is development of sports and finance the events. Invite sporting personalities for talks and ask for a nominal fees that could be added in the coffers. There are endless options :)

It's time we suspend seniors who are part of the sports training & selection team & instead, bring in retired sportsmen or sportswomen to lead this department. This way, we will actually have sports person as part of selection team & our probability to develop a better sports team for India will be much higher. Its a shame to see that a country of 1.4 billion cannot bring another Milkha Singh or P.T. Usha. Its high time we look into these essentials
