Sports Authority of India (SAI) has five Stadia in Delhi viz. Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Indira Gandhi Sports Complex, Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium, Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee Swimming Pool Complex and Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Ranges. The sprawling Stadia were built for 1982 Asian Games and were later renovated/ reconstructed for the Commonwealth Games-2010 and have potential to generate revenue by way of organising sports and non-sports events.

first you have to develope an vision on that vision you have to make sure about equal impotance regarding sports it has been observed that in india only cricket is so famous but where is another games ?? did we discover only game of cricket ?? ans must be no than why people is not aware about hockey and some other games ? do you know why ? becoz we don't have a policy which can be helpful for other games so first develope an policy than we can think about fund

*More and more matches should be encouraged, using celebrities, politicians to play friendly matches *India already has the infrastructure through common wealth and should capitalize by hosting various world sports events. *Sunday matches should be introduced accompanied with food stalls and sponsorships for revenue *Open Theme Restaurants should be opened as sky lounge with the view of the beautiful stadium. *Concerts & Stand up Comedies should be encouraged at evenings.

We can ask people to contribute some money and they must make sure that they help youngster or athletes to get trained there. we can also ask cricketers and celebs to give some contribution as social service by offering basic needs to the needy and some to above instances.

Ask our Cricketers and Celebrity Sports Persons who are endorsing all International brands to contribute only 6% of their income coming only from appearing in advertisements.
