In order to design an interoperable ecosystem of data, applications and processes, there is a need to formulate a policy for the Government Organizations to provide Open Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). The “Policy on Open APIs for Government of India” has been drafted to encourage formal use of Open APIs in Government Organizations. This policy sets out the Government’s approach on the use of “Open APIs” to promote software interoperability for all e-Governance applications & systems and provide access to data & services for promoting participation of citizens and other stakeholders.

You are requested to provide your inputs on the policy and suggest implementation approach across the government.

To read the abstract of Open API Policy please refer the following URL: https://static.mygov.in/static/s3fs-public/Draft_Policy%20on%20Open%20AP...

Last date for sending your suggestions is 10th November 2014.

Hi, Management, Admin is not serious about entries submitted in creative section and working as its own way. We are working hard and giving our precious time and we found ‘Admin’ very less responsive or either they don't have time to check entries. The horrible part is that they don't care about our time and work. If this thing continued people will be less in participation and it is started showing, so please do something-Jai Hind

The closed Nokia chennai plant should be taken over by the government to recover tax dues and should be sold to another phone manufacturer to help the trained workers .It will help in boosting local manufacturing and invester sentiment. This was done earlier in the satyam computers deal too

PM Ji, Namo Namo  A govt body ( like FSSAI) should be formed which regulate all the companies which are selling their packaged edible items in market by writing codes like E235, E355 in the ingredients when general public don’t know what all they are serving us to eat. Else, they ( FSSAI ) should publish the detailed description on their website of such codes. India become healthy when eat healthy.

Paper free workplace . For any reimbursement in companies employee has to send hard copies of claims to company processing center. After communicating with Accounts department they said hard copies are required as per gov of india regulations for income tax and audit requirements. Minor items should be handled by mere soft copies . It will save millions of papers just by collaboration of revenue department and corporate or government institution.

Respected PM Sir, I'm fascinated by the image of Late Sh Valabhbhai Patel from long time. I'm really thankful to you and to all those related who helped to reinstate Patel Ji's image at top most level in recent months. I have one more request from you i.e to open Youtube to distribute copyright of the Movie "Sardar" release in 1993 (acting lead role by Paresh Rawal) and release it on youtube like many old movies are released now days on youtube. That movie is a must watch.
