In order to design an interoperable ecosystem of data, applications and processes, there is a need to formulate a policy for the Government Organizations to provide Open Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). The “Policy on Open APIs for Government of India” has been drafted to encourage formal use of Open APIs in Government Organizations. This policy sets out the Government’s approach on the use of “Open APIs” to promote software interoperability for all e-Governance applications & systems and provide access to data & services for promoting participation of citizens and other stakeholders.

You are requested to provide your inputs on the policy and suggest implementation approach across the government.

we are connecting all gram panchayat from internet but all will go waist if we can't manage that facility provided and a huge money wasted. we have to give appropriate education to local authority and launch a software for all government employee that they can use email and also establish centralize vigilance team for corruption free environment. for that gov. full fill there 3 things, corruption skill development and employment. all gov.employee.r liable to give answer of compl.with in cal time

First API should be implemented for land records and land use which generates the highest black money in India. JSON should be served as API output. More Critical is to identify information or fields which should be in public domain first in any e-governance model. Should encourage software developer to write wrapper for different languages, Semantic Versioning should be adopted. NIC should be given the lead and management, development for such initiative. Easiest to start will be EPIC system.

Respected honourable PM Modi sir , I have a plan which would make the India as e India (Digital India) .In recent days the internet and smart phones are getting expensive and they are not affordable to every citizen of India,Hence forth I think that the government should install Wi-Fi hotspots covering full India and providing smart phones which should be cheaper ,Excellent quality and manufactured by Government of India and distribute to each an every human born in India.This will connect all.

India boasts of Software giants like TCS Infosys WIPRO etc. We have got huge IT & Outsourcing talent available. I can see government is giving all sorts of incentives and benefits to private companies to buld IT buiseness but why government is not thinking to start an organization like NAVRATNAS (ONGC, SAIl etc) who can be dedicated to such IT, ITES & other outsourcing initiatives..this will really take india to new heights...

Sir, my village is located in coastal area of new Adhra Pradesh state. It has been deprived of medical facilities for many decades and depend on untrained medical practitioners. If some one adopt my village and provide basic medical facilities, I will provide all logistic support through village panchayat. I hope some one is listening my cause. Regards

Dear PM, In the health sectors ,its very rare where the govt hospital seen doing good to the poor and needy instead they have toil hard to get what is there right. My opinion is Mr PM, instead of setting up hospitals cant we give medical insurance which helps poor and helps in flourishing insurance service sector as well.The poor can choose the service they want instead at the mercy of hospital doctors. Its more beneficiary than DBT.It my opinion. Thanks Netra
