I think its a wonderful idea to ban plastic..but my concern is if we use paper in a large amount we should also plant more trees as use of paper will result in cutting of trees so more of bags used of cloth can also be used so that we can have more of substitutes other than paper and plastic.

Dear Sir,
I am P A Cariappa, there are 5 ways to ban plastics and there bi - products.
1) Use of paper cups , instead of plastic cups,
2) Use of " Jute " Products, in buying and supply , of commodities.
3) Stop producing " Plastics " and curb " Plastics" Industries.
Regards.
P A Cariappa.

i think that you are required to ban/stop the manufacturing of the plastic bags. and replace it with a paper bag or a cloth bag (jute type bags). but you won't be able to stop the production of the plastic bags as it would lead to a huge loss to manufacturing co. what you can really do is impose more taxes on manufacturing of the plastic bags. so that the consumer would have to also pay for the plastic bags. it will bring some decline in plastic bags.

In my suggestion there need a change in this subject ie, Imposition of Ban on PRODUCTION of Plastic carry bags. Because, when these plastic carry bags available in the market , the people will use it. So first completely prohibit production and develop paper / any other material do not harm for our earth.

Unless there is as same substitute for plastic people will not stop using it. Firstly we must know Why Plastic is been used by Customers/Shopkeepers? Because they are cheap and available in all sizes, easy to use but hard to destroy. If we could create a substitute then well at some point we could be able to stop the spreading of plastic.
