Stop manufacturing of eco-unfriendly poly products.
PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE.

Constant public awareness campaigns by Government, using mediums such as TV,radio, posters in public places, about items that are not good for us, would convince majority of the public. Peer pressure could do the rest. Young children could be taught about responsible public behavior in schools.

absolutely correct decision especially with respect to carry bags. Recycled paper bags or cloth bags can be easily used. This should be done all over India

Before Imposing The Ban I Request The Govt To Come Up With An Alternate Equivalent To Cost And Supply Of Plastics .
instead Of Heavy Fine Decrees The Fine and Ask Them To Plant A Tree.

1st Of All Govt Should Make Sure That Alternate Of Plastics / Polythene Is Available In Sufficient Quantity and Costs Almost Equal To The Amount They Pay For A Plastic Carry Bag ,
Students In Schools Should Also Be Thought To Avoid The Usage Of Plastics . Govt Should Try To Change The Mind And Teach Citizen (Specially Educated Because They are The One Who Breaks The Rule Usually ).

The idea to ban plastic is good and people should be taken into confidence.Added to it govt. with NGO's and companies CSR should introduce jute bags or recycled paper bags for public. So that ban will be sustainable.
