Common people already had awareness on not using plastic bags. As there is no alternative and people has to carry the goods/items to home/one place to other they are using plastic bags.
If government can provide Eco friendly bags to all the shops and common people with free of cost, then definitely common man will use Eco friendly bags only.
As providing Eco friendly bags for free of cost to shops/common people by govt. needs lots of funds, govt. can raise fund collection from big industries.

banning plastic or whatever should be implemented in the initial level & not imposed on publics head. Only because things are given in plastic people r using it, rather than banning them, charging extra amount for the carry bags people use is another kind of corruption & not a proper solution too. we can think of using all possible recyclable materials for packing r to be sold to end customers.

Sir, In every city municipal department will do a plastic waste management factories and recycling the plastic. China did the same thing and they produce the recycling material and sales the material in India. We will also do the same thing and my dream is we will export the good quality of recyling product to other countries

Manufacturing industries uses plastic in logistics packaging and transportation more than common man. Efforts should be to made by government to discourage them rather than going to public to ban use! Secondly, clean India funds should be used for recycling industries development as well, to use plastic waste for developing newer products under #StartupIndia initiative.

Our government should put up a industry or organisation ,who will buy garbage from all over the country ,so that poor , common people whoever is interested will collect all garbage from their surrounding and will sell it to particular government organisation

i think only biodegradable polythenes should be allowed across the country, because without polythenes it will difficult for all to carry stuffs, according to me the best substitute of polythene is biodegrabable polythenes . At prasent it is not used because it is more costly than the ordinary polythene .

In every mall there should one auto machine in Like big bazar ,reliance Mart, and similar, machine work is to collect bottels & other plastic material calculate total weight
& in return give some credit to that person for waste plastic in printed receipt and with that credit amount he can use it in same in big bazar, reliance mart and other.
from this we can collect huge amount of plastic in quick time.
and further we can use that plastic to make road thats the best thing like in TATA JUSCO
