TO SAVE POWER: I suggest to move our time 1.5 hours ahead than our current time. By doing this we can utilise maximum daylight. This needs to be done on priority basis. As we know USA has 3 tine zone and they have different timings for winter and summer.

Expenditure is core area where we should have tight checks. Money saved is money earned. Many activities are done under government bodies needs to be discontinued which are wasteful and burden on government, neither govt nor public is benefited only wasteful expenses. As mentioned by someone I suggest to provide ration food to public upto 12 months ration, in turn govt will save on storage and get money well in advance and public will save many hours to get ration.

Remove political interference from Govt PSU decision making. There are lots of phantom industries in Govt Sector, where factory stop production but employees are still paid govt salaray and benefits as politicians worry about fallout on elections. Govt should prepare white paper on policy of its tolerance for sick industries, give fixed amount of chance with public money to revamp ops, else shut the sick factory down. Govt creating jobs for sake of jobs is a legacy of bygone socialistic era

The present NREGA scheme is a total waste, with no permanent development projects undertaken. Already there is a large pool of nonproductive govt employees in offices. Now a similar labour force is being created. For actual upliftment of poor labourers, NREGA should first provide "Skill training with wages", & then deploy them in development projects in local area. eg.building toilets, homes, schools, health centers, pakka roads, drainage/ sewage systems, ponds, water supply works.

Why you have restricted my vision to see my country with only 500 words. My country has to say in more words. I feel so restricted in this word limit.

Financial support to ailing PSUs to factor in the prevailing work culture and those having continuous agitations, for flimsy reasons, driven by militant trade unions / executives should be allowed to have a natural death.

Distiribution through PDS be stopped. Instead use the census data for each location.Determine household size and allocate minimum ration support for each household. The households eligible shall be those following below and slightly above poverty line. The min ration to be physically delivered through India Post offices which have spread and reach. With advent of emails they are grossly unutilised and their network is deep. They shud devlp and manage the supply chain

Instead of providing tax incentives for SEZ, exports, and any other incentive, or instead of charging cess, create Resource points which each entity would provide to the goverment. Accumalation of such resource points can be exchanged for entities goods by govt to fund infrastrucure- like cement, steel, medicine. This works somethink like earning and encashing credit card points at a very high level and volume
