Dear Sir,
The mid day meal scheme is very useful in maintaining the attendance in schools. We should provide meals to all the children in the schools - irrespective of being BPL or APL. This is not only for their health but also for their development and attitude towards sharing and social equivalence. The present system of APL/BPL discrimination tends to make the tender hearts believe that they are "Second" prioritised citizens and this will in turn jeopardise the student harmony.

The first point I would like to comment on is that ‘Health and Physical Education’. Health and Physical Education is one of six key learning areas in the NSW primary curriculum. It is based on a broad understanding of health that encompasses all aspects of an individual's well-being, including their social, mental, physical and spiritual health.
