Our city “LUCKNOW” ranks 3rd on the list of 23 high scoring cities selected for the “FAST TRACK” round.

To update our proposal in order to achieve the benchmark set by the MoUD and the winning cities, we APPEAL THE CITIZENS to engage and provide their suggestions in formulation of the Smart City Proposal for our city Lucknow, which is due to be submitted on April 15, 2016.

In persuasion to achieve the aforesaid, Lucknow Municipal Corporation and the consultants are in the process of upgrading the Smart City Proposal in-line with the requirements and suggestions from the citizens.

The Smart City proposal submitted to MoUD on December 15, 2015 can be accessed through the mentioned link below. Lucknow Municipal Corporation aims to engage citizens for comments and suggestions so that they can be incorporated to formulate a winning proposal.

Toilets should be made and garbage bins should be placed at the distance of 500 metrs.pan,guthka should be banned and spiting of guthka and pan should be punishable and implemented strictly.

Sometimes I feel how good it would be if I could cycle to work. This would also reduce the pollution around and in turn drive the wellness aspect of the city. With cycling we would also do some good physical activity which is nearly next to impossible in our busy schedule now days.

Strict law enforcement for parking space; waste disposal; land encroachment on roads, public space and markets by commercial and residential units should be ensured. Waste of public money on construction and later again breaking of these public pathways, road, and structures within a short period of time shows lack of planning & foresight and utter negligence on the part of civil administration.

Our body is the temple of GOD". Those who belive this will always be aware what are they doing and will all the time have the eye to make the things perfect in their dominion.What I figured out is that none of the human is blind about the problems. So why to talk on the problems or the remedies?They both exist since centuries.A city can be built easily but it can only stand still and face the storms if its bones like-

Most important among all things is close co-ordination & collaboration within all Govt departments. The PWD/CPWD,Nagar Nigam, Jal Nigam, Nirman Nigam, LDA etc. before taking any repair/development/reconstruction work ; should inform all other concerned departments, through mail/sms/putting information on their respective web-sites. eg. If some road-digging work for pipe repair etc is to be taken by Jal Nigam, it should inform concerned departments for road maintenance & repair.

Education sector: Since we youth are reservoir of innovative ideas, government can indulge in informative discussions on various topics ranging from environment, tourism, agriculture, social service and many more with students. It can be initiated along with the regular group discussions and activities which are part of academic curriculum keeping a record of best ideas and implementing them.

Smart city means every thing should be smart and for it... Government must make his each n every department ONLINE ..DIGITAL..& ..COMPUTERIZED TOO Instead of making ADHAR CARD .... A such type of card made for evry citizen of smart city ...on his evry details is mentined and that card can also be as his Dna...if any person does a crime he can be cought in few minutes....and that card can be known as {Smart card}, through which government can charged that person if he do any offence..online

Electricity wire kept in underground because sometimes breaking wire and short circuiting make harmful to our citizens and mostly to stray animals. This should be implemented.
