Our city “LUCKNOW” ranks 3rd on the list of 23 high scoring cities selected for the “FAST TRACK” round.

To update our proposal in order to achieve the benchmark set by the MoUD and the winning cities, we APPEAL THE CITIZENS to engage and provide their suggestions in formulation of the Smart City Proposal for our city Lucknow, which is due to be submitted on April 15, 2016.

In persuasion to achieve the aforesaid, Lucknow Municipal Corporation and the consultants are in the process of upgrading the Smart City Proposal in-line with the requirements and suggestions from the citizens.

The Smart City proposal submitted to MoUD on December 15, 2015 can be accessed through the mentioned link below. Lucknow Municipal Corporation aims to engage citizens for comments and suggestions so that they can be incorporated to formulate a winning proposal.

All these need a revamp for Smart Lucknow Road and Transportation Sector. Electricity Sector. Rain water harvesting. Sanitation Sector. & Health Care Sector.

More public toilets and strict fine and punishment for urinating or spitting in public places.Proper sewage treatment and proper disposal mechanism for daily household garbage.Planting more trees to make the city green and pollution free.

Strict law enforcement for parking space; waste disposal; land encroachment on roads, public space and markets by commercial and residential units should be ensured. Waste of public money on construction and later again breaking of these public pathways, road, and structures within a short period of time shows lack of planning & foresight and utter negligence on the part of civil administration.

We should realize the importance of clean drinking water. Water is being misused as it is not being metered and controlled, smart city should have smart meters installed wherein we can stop the misuse of this resource. One should realize/take corrective measures post looking at grim situations of Delhi & Mumbai.

Lucknow's parks and the zoo must be maintained and activities monitored periodically. 1- Beautification of Gomti ghat should be done. 2- Traffic problems should be solved. 3- Plantation should be done on each side of the road. 4- Heritage buildings,touristplaces,monuments etc. should be maintained
