Our city “LUCKNOW” ranks 3rd on the list of 23 high scoring cities selected for the “FAST TRACK” round.

To update our proposal in order to achieve the benchmark set by the MoUD and the winning cities, we APPEAL THE CITIZENS to engage and provide their suggestions in formulation of the Smart City Proposal for our city Lucknow, which is due to be submitted on April 15, 2016.

In persuasion to achieve the aforesaid, Lucknow Municipal Corporation and the consultants are in the process of upgrading the Smart City Proposal in-line with the requirements and suggestions from the citizens.

The Smart City proposal submitted to MoUD on December 15, 2015 can be accessed through the mentioned link below. Lucknow Municipal Corporation aims to engage citizens for comments and suggestions so that they can be incorporated to formulate a winning proposal.

With so many monuments especially in the Qaiserbagh area I feel the urge to develop a common recreational area for connecting all the formats in form of a museum. I support Lucknow the art city transforms to a Smart city

Would like to see public bicycle system developed along with the cycle tracks which are already up and running in most of the major areas. Let's cycle to make Lucknow better and healthier.

Pollution free atmosphere by controlling vehicles that make more pollution and make Park for the retired old people and a cycle track free from noise it is a good idea but there should be pay attention on atmosphere. We should focus on the traffic and also provide a online service to check whether a car/bike(vehicle) is valid or not by just scanning their number by traffic police.

Make more vehicle parking areas with automated system and and make all traffic signal intelligent technology managed at busy market area and streets. Make Flyovers in conjugated areas to make travel easy and tension free.

Electricity wire kept in underground because sometimes breaking wire and short circuiting make harmful to our citizens and mostly to stray animals. This should be implemented.

save time of people who seek to park their vehicles. This can be integrated by means of a mobile application and made available to people for convince and ease of driving or rather the pleasure of driving. I would love to see Lucknow drive its way to parking itself as a front runner Smart city in our country.

Most important among all things is close co-ordination & collaboration within all Govt departments. The PWD/CPWD,Nagar Nigam, Jal Nigam, Nirman Nigam, LDA etc. before taking any repair/development/reconstruction work ; should inform all other concerned departments, through mail/sms/putting information on their respective web-sites. eg. If some road-digging work for pipe repair etc is to be taken by Jal Nigam, it should inform concerned departments for road maintenance & repair
