Lucknow should become an e commerce hub, invite various e-commerce companies to create their warehouses in Lucknow, from where products can be shipped through out India. This will create large revenue as e-commerce is the future and will only expend. Running away from e-commerce will keep UP and Lucknow behind the country. Incentivize local sellers to use internet platform to sell their products throughout India.

Fairly large population are migrating day by day towards cities like Lucknow due to lack of Employment/livelihood in rural areas/backward districts of U.P. These migrants should be provided rental house on a very nominal rent on the part of Government to avoid the creation of slums/encroachments in the city.

Education sector: Since we youth are reservoir of innovative ideas, government can indulge in informative discussions on various topics ranging from environment, tourism, agriculture, social service and many more with students. It can be initiated along with the regular group discussions and activities which are part of academic curriculum keeping a record of best ideas and implementing them.

Removal of encroachment from the road side. This should be very carefully done as it should not impact those who earn their livelihood through their shops/outlets on the road side. They might be the only bread earners for their family, so in order to remove the encroachments they should be give an alternative place as a replacement.

Lucknow is a heritage city and was well known as a city of ‘Tehzib’ and hospitality globally, however in last few years Lucknow has lost its popularity and dignity. The major cause of this is that most of the educated and cultured people are moving out of Lucknow and relocating to more advanced cities in conjunction people from suburbs and adjoining cities have started moving in Lucknow. We need to create jobs in Lucknow to make it Smart.

We should realize the importance of clean drinking water. Water is being misused as it is not being metered and controlled, smart city should have smart meters installed wherein we can stop the misuse of this resource. One should realize/take corrective measures post looking at grim situations of Delhi & Mumbai.
