Municipal Corporation Bhagalpur congratulates the citizens of Bhagalpur for being selected in 23 fast track cities.

A special fast track has been provided to 23 high scoring cities of states/UTs to upgrade their proposal which are not covered in first twenty cities and submit it before 15th April 2016. The proposal which will achieve the benchmark set by the wining cities after evaluation by the panel of experts will become eligible for funding on accelerated basis in 2016-17.
To achieve the benchmark set by the MoUD and wining cities, wide range of citizen consultations/ engagements is prerequisite of the Project. In this regard Municipal Corporation Bhagalpur appeal all the citizens to give their suggestions on Previous Proposal. Bhagalpur Smart City Proposal and Comments received from MoUD are uploaded below.

The last date to submit your suggestions/comments is 18th March, 2016.

To provide streetlight i all cties and villages also. 2. Install CCTV at public place or highways. 3. Also provide free wi-fi servies at all railway/bus stati.

The street’s Drainage capacity level and Drainage‘s danger-level-indicator should be mentioned on every street corner in daily basis.

please take example of singapore, they cut water from sea and make man made canal passing by middle of country, and develop high rise building. Thanks

Roads in urban areas may have green belts at levels lower than roads allowing free flow of rain water which will prevent damage, traffic jams and lowering of ground water table
