every house,office should be given a star rating up on its consuption and billed according to it.android app should be made to switchoff devices in home from anywhere As the cost of sensors has come down its time to put sensors to detect activity and act accordingly. if possible do some thing to replace all heavy consuming old devices with new ones. use led lights, use natural circulation of air instead of using fans,use solar, wind,energies.

Electric Induction cooking is more easy and economical if combined with solar panel you can not only save other source of energy but you can save forest also.

The govt should order media to stop telecast of tv channels at least 2 hours in the day time and for 4 hours from 1 am to 5 am in the Night. This would reduce the power consumption ...

Just reward users consuming less power n punish ones using excess. Create attarctive slabs n see the magic happening. People move n act immediately to gain money and avoid penalties. Just work with power distributing n billing firms to gett above done in fair way.

mostly in every household there is R O or water purifiers which causes wastage of water and power both. if this can done at the source of water supply then atleast wastage of water and energy can be reduced.

in some cases when a particular building is closed because of non usage owner has to lit the bulb so as the meter will so some reading otherwise the power department will charge penality for non functioning of meter.

the process of charging minimum bill should be change to actual usage. as when when my usage is less and I have to pay more because of minimum bill then why I am going to save energy.
