Why can't we install a small wind mill in each compartments of trains and use the method of storing generated energy in form of any storage devices. A small wind mill can turn installed in four corners of each compartment and those energy can be used for running of trains, electricity by saving traditional method. These saved energy can be used instead of electricity for long running distances.

dont tax the items that are energy saving. let the people start using them fully. its not just the households that should be aware of the loss or waste of the energy but the Municipalities, Panchayats and the Megacities as well. Streetlights are ON till around 10 AM or sometimes all day long or till the time our drunken Switch operator on duty becomes sober.

Respected PM sir is suggesting to use LED but one thing must understand that 14.5% is LST or VAT is imposed on All LED why ? Because of 14.5% VAT the cost goes up very highly where is only 5% VAT is applicable on CFL. Why not PM sir asking for 5% VAT for All Type of LED & Celling Fans which most important item in summer time but customers are not buy Fans which BIS approved 5 star Rating Fan due to high cost, Centre must impose this two thing to all states strongly.(VAT Values Depends on Assam).

1.Use solar power to light up each and every street light, govt. buildings all over India or Use LED bulbs. 2. Only build green buildings for all government buildings, schools in future.Modify existing government buildings to green building.Provide incentive like carbon credit 3. In India, the top speed allowed on a road is 100-120 KM PH. Then why most of the vehicles having speedometer of 140-240 KM PH. Govt should consider fuel subsidy for energy efficient vehicle brands.

To save energy,we never forget to switch off the light-WHY? because in our childhood we always remember that every time we used to get lesson by our parents if we forget to switch off the light but now we ignore and do not provide the value of energy. We always feel that we have not enough time to discuss on this matter and no one will understand our views and result is in front of us.Basic training frm childhood is necessary & automatically at the time of leaving site he/she will switch off.

"Ozone sticker" on each desk stated the switch number of your fan/and light. eventually all switches were numbered on the switchboard. People aware of their switch number eventually started practising to switch off before the leave by the gate. A small step and a huge leap in conserving energy when you have a organisation of 150K employees.

I am proud to share one of my experiences as it eventually saves MW of electricity every year. My work floor had a switchboard near the gate which contained around 300 switches for fans and light. though a small symbol stated "please switch off when you leave". We all had no idea which switch belongs to light/fan to my desk,so no one bothered to switchoff as other's might be affected if you switch off all. So I wrote to the facilities and they came up with the idea of "Ozone stickers".

Just like LPG distributor, appoint electricity distributor in every village.Bigger number of consumers under one distributor will be unmanageable.Let electricity company give power at one point to the distributor who lays underground cable to reach every consumer's home.By this the actual consumption will get monitored. On the lines of LPG,consumer pays to distributor and a part of it is given by govt to the consumer because solar he was paying nothing.Dignified living helps in character building.
