Manual scavengers are largely illiterate and have no exposure or aptitude for doing business or taking up self employment ventures.  This makes their rehabilitation in alternative occupations very challenging.

\

What are the ways in which the manual scavengers can be gainfully employed in other occupations, so that they do not return to manual scavenging? Participants may share success stories that they may be aware of.

Sir, To make poor people a little bit happy my suggestion is to open a organization ( no profit no loss ) in which in place of money only services are taken by the people for the people.any type of money is not involves in it in the name of funds only goods and services which been provided by local people. ( Doctor a day of free checkup , municipal a day of clean campaign , civilians old cloths and all needy items which are not of use for them ).

we need to change our practices to keep our own city clean. everyone knows very well the value n importance of cleanliness but we don't care for it much. we think a bit of paper dropped by me doesn't matter a lot. d day each one of us start to think dt I should not throw waste on public places cleanliness will start. it's true dt PM's effort to clean India has started a great movement all over India. days are not far away to see clean India with clean roads, hospitals, public toilets etc.

Cleaning public places in PPP mode. A quota should be ensured for manual scavengers in these firms. Before placing them in these firms, they should be trained to handle mechanized equipment that the firms put to use and other basic skills to deal with ground situation.

1. revamp each police station in the country by giving it a look so that common people are not scared to step in a police station 2. An online setup for each Police station where in petty issues like reporting loss of mobile phone, documents etc are handled online without waiting for Chota babu & Bada Babu of a Police station 3. Increase the intake of female officers at each level 4. Appoint HR professionals in the Police department for imparting training on soft skills etc.

Last year rate of Basmati Paddy about 6000/- per qt. and this year its rates about 3200/- per qt., because of this farmers have heavy loss but no Govt. give attention towards
