What are the ways in which beggars/ destitutes can be skilled and gainfully employed so that they do not return to begging?

Participants may share success stories, as they may be aware of.

Where can I get a blind massage? In Cambodia, The Association for the Blind trais masseurs, and in Sihanoukville, Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, they operate businesses under the name Seeing Hands, specializing in blind massage. The National Council for the Blind in Malaysia offers blind massage with a list of traditional blind masseurs on its website http://ncbm.org

Learn from China Creating Millions of Jobs for Blind : In China For hundreds of years, blind people have been trained to massage, making use of their “seeing hands” which may be more capable than those of sighted people. In a region where state financial support for people with disabilities is very rare, massage gives blind people a highly valued and specialized role in society, and provides them with the means to make a living. Just need training and education. No big infrastructure needed. >

Dear Sir Please take some steps to reduce cow slaughter In and around Costal Karnataka (Mangalore), the cows are stolen from shed, used for cow slaughtering. I have few suggestion to reduce this. Please provide some subsidy to grow other type of meats like goat, chicken etc. And make sure these meats available for cheaper rate. And also increase the "Cattle meat" price. If other meats available cheaper rate, then people will reduce consuming cattle-meat.

Beggars should be seen as people who can contribute to the society and who can reclaim their position in society provided they are given appropriate skill training and jobs, according to their age and ability in needed areas. Jobs might include manual labour, health service facilitation, aid distribution services, village development project etc in its early form for which they should be paid. Many just need a little push in a right direction.
