In order to equip them to look after their needs, it is necessary to impart skills to them. Most of them are unskilled and this makes their rehabilitation in alternative occupations very challenging.

What are the ways in which beggars/ destitutes can be skilled and gainfully employed so that they do not return to begging?

Participants may share success stories, as they may be aware of.

Last date for sending your suggestions is 18th November, 2014.

We have to analyse what we mean by rehabilitation of beggars. There are those that don't want to be rehabilitated. So what we could do is have a system of shelters where people who need a roof over their heads and three simple meals a day have them. There could be social/health workers who take care of those who cannot take care of themselves. Training street children can be through centres set up in public private partnership and giving free medicine should be through govt health centres.

Generally people are not born as Beggar's, its society or people who left them all alone to beg for basic need, Public participation alone will not eliminate the beggary, every citizen should realize that beggars whom you see on roads are not beggars, they are made to beg by their son, daughters, relations and abandon mother's. Adopt orphans, atleast 50% of beggars get reduced. Goverment should take strict action against the person involving in this mafia and those who are behind them. Eradicate

In a latest study about beggars which is really shocking!! They beg for money having children in their shoulders the real truth about it is They hire children from a group for a petty amount n give alcohol so that the baby keeps sleeping always!! Its not their child most of the times This is very sad and a disturbing issue!! for humanity Ther shoul be proper hosing scheme for them with incentives! this should be implemented with 0% corruption!!! Plzz take this into consideration

BAN begging & take strict action against people running beggar rackets. Build REHABILITATION CENTRES where they can be imparted SKILLS to make a living. Govt should take up the task of MARKETING their skills or products. A more specific skill coupled with innovation could be RECYCLING. Children should be provided EDUCATION along with provision for SPORTS. Elders should be given FAMILY PLANNING education. Rehabilitated individuals should be provided with govt houses to serve as INCENTIVE.

I am a student and so my main concern is about the education system.Though the CCE system is good but it is not implemented properly in every school. Moreover today the children are having very restricted knowledge. We should bring the concept of "learning in every step".The education system should be made more knowledgeable. General knowledge should be made compulsory in every schools.learning an extra language and knowing about the major activities world wide is very necessary .

sir,i was very much happy with your effective work till now.i want to make a few suggestions on some aspects. 1.Gandhi said villages are back bone of india.but the saddest thing agriculture is becoming difficult day by day and lot of farmers are comitting suicides due to finanicial problems which is a not good sign for our counrty. every product manufacturer decides the price of his product but in farming it doesnt happen...atleast provide the good value so that we can save our farmers...
