The Pasighat Municipal Council is conducting a MyGov Discussion Forum for its “Draft Smart City Proposal”. The proposal has been prepared taking into account citizens priorities and aspirations as part of the Round 2 of the "Smart City Challenge”.

In the past few months we all have worked hard towards making Pasighat a Smart and a credible city. The citizen feedback received at various stages of this competition have been carefully analysed to articulate the vision, goals and how the projects proposed in the Smart City Proposalis going toimprove the life of its residents.

The Citizen Interactions, expert opinions, and deliberations by departments have all contributed in developing this Smart City Proposal. The draft proposal will be finalized and submitted to MoUD once the citizen feedback on the draft proposal is incorporated.

The Pasighat Siang River should be soft sport track should be laid on each bank for sport or normal people to go for jogging or running.

Proper Equipment should be available with sanitation staff. Proper uniform for sanitation weakly. Vizag roads are very narrow and they are matching Cosmo cities like Delhi Mumbai in terms of traffic and pollution also and it lacks a proper drainage system also. These things are to be changed first

Safety and security should be top priority. Govt. service should be on line Accessible. Smart monitoring system on sewerage pump house.

There must be public toilet available in every corner of the pasighat city so that people must not pee publicly in public places.

Mujhe sab draft bahut acha laga par kuch kuch chize bhul gaye hai jaise ki Medical colleges,Engineering colleges, tourist ke liye jagah jaise ki Siang River ,Sirki Ranaghat Wagera Wagera.

In section 3 of CITIZENS PRIORITIES, people have voted all the three sectors viz EDUCATION & SPORTS, HEATLTH SERVICE and SECURITY almost equally. That means they want all of them simultaneously. Though voting for the “health service” is leading by a narrow margin, it should not be taken as parameter for selection and neglect other two sectors. In this case equal importance is to be given in the FINAL PROPOSAL.

As tourism is becoming one of the major industries in these days, it should not be neglected while preparing the final proposal for SMART CITY. With the development of tourism in the district, a considerable numbers of unemployment will be solved and economic condition of people will better in days to come.
