The Third round of Smart City Challenge is started. In order to succeed in Smart City Challenge, once again WE need YOU! Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) proposes to re-engage with its citizens and community groups to give feedback and suggest improvements regarding the selection of the Area Based Development and Pan City with the overall draft Smart City Proposal so that it will help for revising the proposal for Round-3 of the Smart City Mission.

Your participation is important for us!

The draft proposal will be finalized and submitted to MoUD once the citizen feedback on the draft proposal is incorporated.

For a better understanding, a draft Smart City Proposal is attached which explains the Area Based Development and Pan City initiatives, which has been shared at the link given below.

Please share your ideas to make Pasighat – “a Credible Smart City”.

The last date to submit your suggestions / comments is 28th February, 2017.

The Government can make a Floating Hotel in Lake for Tourist and Local Citizen. Floating Hotel will be attraction for Tourist and will boost Tourism. The hotel should have Green house technology and should be solar powered. The tourist can reach using LPG operated Motor Boat. Even Floating Fountain can be installed in Lake and can be illuminated with colorful light the lake should be surrounded by compound and can be decorated with LED lights and can have jogging track.

For success of a Smart City, citizen active participation is most important aspect. The administration can provide state-of-the-art and intelligent infrastructure but using and maintaining it is citizen responsibility. I suggest creation of group of citizens responsible for creating awareness and usage/maintenance of smart infra. This will help smoother conceive, implement and maintain the smart infra.

The Smart city should have Parking Tower it should be constructed by using new technology it will resolve the parking problem for city, Junctions. Even it can have Car Wash System and Maintenance Department for Cars

Smart city should have smart building, Complex & smart infrastructures. The energy should be provided form geothermal power from which is renewal energy from earth. All the flats should be connected with optic fiber & with internet connection & should be interlinked with each flat with video door camera. Waste should be collected by underground gas system. Wi-Fi connective in complex. Free Wi-Fi services.

Recycling of waste will produce renewable energy, ensure safe disposal of solid waste, prevent soil and environmental pollution and reduce depletion of resources
