The Third round of Smart City Challenge is started. In order to succeed in Smart City Challenge, once again WE need YOU! Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) proposes to re-engage with its citizens and community groups to give feedback and suggest improvements regarding the selection of the Area Based Development and Pan City with the overall draft Smart City Proposal so that it will help for revising the proposal for Round-3 of the Smart City Mission.

Your participation is important for us!

The draft proposal will be finalized and submitted to MoUD once the citizen feedback on the draft proposal is incorporated.

For a better understanding, a draft Smart City Proposal is attached which explains the Area Based Development and Pan City initiatives, which has been shared at the link given below.

Please share your ideas to make Pasighat – “a Credible Smart City”.

The last date to submit your suggestions / comments is 28th February, 2017.

This makes easier to the citizen the use of any available devices to interconnect them.According to Anthropologist, U-city is a further extension of digital city concept because of the facility in terms of accessibility to every infrastructure.

pasighat got the oldest education hub of the state "jawaharlal Nehru college" joined by Central agricultural university, College of Horticulture and forestry, apex professional university, govt. polytechnic college, school of nursing and D.Ering college of Teacher education etc which strengthen as a educational hub of the region.

The unique character of pasighat is not found in itanagar the capital city of arunachal pradesh. the pasighat has got mesmerizing scenic beauty gifted by nature through which the river bhramaputra known as Siang flows through the city in the eastern side from north to south surrounded by blue mountain hills filled with sub tropical green forest in the north east. pasighat got tourism destination development potential for river rafting adventure sports, historical places & wildlife sanctuary.
