Jaipur Municipal Corporation has received overwhelming response from its citizen in smart city suggestions and ideas to improve their city under Smart City Challenge.

As part of citizen engagement & consultation process (for preparation of Smart City Proposal) Jaipur Municipal Corporation organized a wide range of activities - e.g. Ward level consultations, Stakeholders Consultations, Blog writing competition, Logo making competition etc starting from 1stOct 2015 to 30th Nov 2015. Apart from this, other social media tools (Facebook, Twitter, Nagar nigam Website, Smart City Website) used to reach citizens.

Citizen interactions, expert opinions, and deliberations by departments have all contributed to developing this Smart City Proposal. Before the proposal is submitted to MoUD for its kind consideration, all citizens of the city are invited to give their feedback on the proposal developed.

1. make foot overbridge to cross the main roads at every kilometres. 2. every roadlites, street lights, park lights should be replaced with led lights. 3. broken roadlight poles should be repalced with new poles. 4. more elivated roads should be build for smooth traffic as soon as possible. 5. every road should be made in gurantee period. and focus on pastic was

Take water, sewage, mobility or air pollution. The current model of resource management, developed in rich Western cities , is costly The first principle in this is to accept that we have to renew what already exists. Take water, for example. Our cities have been built to optimise on the available resources. They were smart in building lakes and ponds to harvest every drop of rain.

Every city can become smarter. Smart cities start with smart systems, working for the benefit of both residents and the environment. Electric grids, gas distribution systems, water distribution systems, public and private transportation systems , commercial buildings, hospitals, homes these form the backbone of the city’s efficiency, livability, and sustainability. It is the improvement and integration of these critical city systems — done in a step -by-step manner.

Jaipur is a city known for diversified history and tradition. I love MY JAIPUR very much. Also, people coming from other states and other countries, who fly from far distances comes to Jaipur to see what History, tradition, culture and beauty of Jaipur and not the DEBRIS of historical building and monuments. JMC must keep proper roads and remain very stick on encroachments. Once any material is seized from encrochment areas it should not be released againt nominal fine as what is happening that same place same stalls are getting placed again which JMC lift.

For a smart city Municipal corporation should also work like JDA. Currently the areas under Jaipur Municipal corporation are in worst stage. No roads, Heavy encroachments, no development, no system, no plantation nothing is happening . Areas under JDA are so clean and better where as areas under Municipal corporation have become villages. Goverement must put complete Jaipur under JDA instead of Municipal corporation.

there should be some attraction for tourist in the evening after 9 pm 1. resturent and chat bazar should allow to open till late 1 am so people can hang out till late 2 chat bazar in ramniwas garden like in earlier days 3 dustben must be there with all the chat wala as cleaniness is very important 4 havey penelty on horn as there is so much of noice poullution in jaipur 5 too many road ways buses which block the city traffic
