Jaipur Municipal Corporation has received overwhelming response from its citizen in smart city suggestions and ideas to improve their city under Smart City Challenge.

As part of citizen engagement & consultation process (for preparation of Smart City Proposal) Jaipur Municipal Corporation organized a wide range of activities - e.g. Ward level consultations, Stakeholders Consultations, Blog writing competition, Logo making competition etc starting from 1stOct 2015 to 30th Nov 2015. Apart from this, other social media tools (Facebook, Twitter, Nagar nigam Website, Smart City Website) used to reach citizens.

Citizen interactions, expert opinions, and deliberations by departments have all contributed to developing this Smart City Proposal. Before the proposal is submitted to MoUD for its kind consideration, all citizens of the city are invited to give their feedback on the proposal developed.

When A person, A group and A government is prove itself the power of its is sufficient for parentsless and poors. Then this city make be smart city.

With the movement towards smart cities, the urban centers we live in can become more efficient, livable, and sustainable in both the short and long term.

A city which is neat and clean is considered to be one of he best smart city. Currently we are using old aged methods of sending the trucks daily along with crane to collect garbage from road side. As a result on rainy days, that place stinks like anything.

For a smart city Municipal corporation should also work like JDA. Currently the areas under Jaipur Municipal corporation are in worst stage. No roads, Heavy encroachments, no development, no system, no plantation nothing is happening . Areas under JDA are so clean and better where as areas under Municipal corporation have become villages. Goverement must put complete Jaipur under JDA instead of Municipal corporation.

If we want to make jaipur a smart city then firstone we want to remove streat dogs from road because when peoples are going on morning walk & evening walk then dogs are barking on peoples resulting peoples are afraid from streat dogs...

Inculsion of local residents and Citizen by creating awareness and educate them and making people aware for some basic points and make held them responsible and give more and more responsiblity who are volunteers as per area. Inclusion of school, college, scot and NCC NGO"s in the activity. 2. Traning to local residents of groups of people for improvement of basic sanity system, health care, water, eletricity, security, safety, education system behaviour training opn various aspects etc.
