Jaipur Municipal Corporation has received overwhelming response from its citizen in smart city suggestions and ideas to improve their city under Smart City Challenge.

As part of citizen engagement & consultation process (for preparation of Smart City Proposal) Jaipur Municipal Corporation organized a wide range of activities - e.g. Ward level consultations, Stakeholders Consultations, Blog writing competition, Logo making competition etc starting from 1stOct 2015 to 30th Nov 2015. Apart from this, other social media tools (Facebook, Twitter, Nagar nigam Website, Smart City Website) used to reach citizens.

Citizen interactions, expert opinions, and deliberations by departments have all contributed to developing this Smart City Proposal. Before the proposal is submitted to MoUD for its kind consideration, all citizens of the city are invited to give their feedback on the proposal developed.

Jaipur is till now heritage city but after some time it will be called heritage+smart city due to the effort of proposed draft

I liked the plan of separate path for cycles. I would suggest separate path for public transport, with this people would prefer to commute using this. this model is successfully installed n running in Netherlands. this would increase the revenue of government. for common people less pollution and traffic. it would also provide employment by creating control system n GPS tracking.

It is mandatory that the city is neat and clean, which is not possible without active support of citizens. The municipal councillors should organise fortnightly meeting in their respective wards (Not just meeting of their party workers), take suggestions from citizens and should ensure that the suggestions are really implemented. Take a leaf from "Rural Biodiversity programme" of Government of India and replicate it in the city. In order to p

Excellent proposal has been drafted by the team which caters to the overall need of the residents of JAIPUR. On ground work was done by the team and volunteers from jaipursmartcitychallenge.com worked hand in hand with the team to draft a practical proposal for JAIPUR.

As the cleaning is a important issue for the smart city, therefore:- 1. We may setup the plant to convert the garbage into verminous compost to short out this problem. If you allow ,our representative will explain you process/system to implement the method through PPT. 2. As a social responsibility we can announce the Car Free Day for the Jaipur to reduce the pollution grade in the city limit. Submitted for consideration please.
