Jaipur Municipal Corporation has received overwhelming response from its citizen in smart city suggestions and ideas to improve their city under Smart City Challenge.

As part of citizen engagement & consultation process (for preparation of Smart City Proposal) Jaipur Municipal Corporation organized a wide range of activities - e.g. Ward level consultations, Stakeholders Consultations, Blog writing competition, Logo making competition etc starting from 1stOct 2015 to 30th Nov 2015. Apart from this, other social media tools (Facebook, Twitter, Nagar nigam Website, Smart City Website) used to reach citizens.

Citizen interactions, expert opinions, and deliberations by departments have all contributed to developing this Smart City Proposal. Before the proposal is submitted to MoUD for its kind consideration, all citizens of the city are invited to give their feedback on the proposal developed.

The ideas of cool, Eco friendly and green corridors, avenues are really very cool and smart because Eco friendly and greenly city is needy with smart city too. so it's great to see such proposal in DPR.

स्मार्ट सिटी बनाने के लिए सरकार को पहल करनी चाहिए।यह शहर विश्व मानचित्र पर अपनी एक पहचान रखता है।अतः यहाँ पर विश्व स्तरीय सुविधाएँ होनी चाहिए।

assured electricity supply using solar energy, smart lighting and monuments lighting using energy efficient sensors are also new entities of DPR which are really exciting.

Desilting of Talkatora pond and beautification of it is also a great proposal which is drafted in report from the point of wall city.

the draft proposal has smart mobility with corridors for smart signage for tourists and traffic which would be helpful to Jaipuriates as well as guest of Jaipur city. great job..!!

Digitization of all the departments is a must thing that covered by the draft proposal of smart city Jaipur.It will ease the speedy settlement of public grievances at the comfort of home.

Govt can give only facilities , it's upto d citizens to keep d property and city clean. And secondly one should fulfil his duties by paying his taxes on time . We all need to be educated towards our responsibilities . It's a very nice plan Wish Jaipur all d best

As a citizen of Jaipur. I feel proud that city will grow. Government can not do everything. We should also feel responsibilities and support the government. Thanks Jaipur nagar Nigam for making nice plan for developing Jaipur as smart city.
