Section 147 of Railway act prescribes that:- ...

Section 147 of Railway act prescribes that:-

1. If any person enters upon or into any part of a railway without lawful authority he shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may be extended to six months or with a fine which may extend to one thousand rupees or with both.

Provided that in the absence of special and adequate reasons to the contrary to be mentioned in the judgment of the court, such punishment shall not be less than a fine of five hundred rupees.

2. Any person referred to in sub-section(1) may be removed from the railway by any railway servant or by any other person whom such railway servant may call to his aid.

However, over Indian Railways, especially over suburban sections deaths occur due to trespassing.

Suggest solutions for reducing trespassing of Railway tracks.

Sir, We have seen so many accidents due to thisrespassing, individual cases are difficult to stop but Railway and Distt Authorities must have a Data and Action Plan when Religious Function held once or twice in a year. For example in 2012 or 2013 a Big accident happened in Bihar when people were coming or returning after Puja. Such Railway Station should be given priority for Safety on Holy Days/ Puja. Just Prepare the list of such Vulnerable station. Thanks

Dear sir, coaches & wagons maintenance me automatic system lane se accident reduce kiye ja sakte hi evam speed increase kiya jasakta hi. Jaise - bearing temperature avi bhi manual liya jata hi jisme laprwahi,human error,manpower,time jyada hota hai. Coaches me watring coacch by coach hoti hai jabki breaking ke liye air ek end se dusre end tak without leak ja sakti hai to pani kyu nahi.

my ticket. it is they who are unable to provide me the seat. So I think they should return me the whole amount because i have not traveled in the train. Why should i pay meaninglessly to anybody. My PNR No is 2303982511. Sir if it is continued The railway will be benifited not the public. Hope you will take the matter seriously.

Sir, I want to have a confirmation from you. I have booked a railway e ticket from Amritsar to Chandigarh on 5th april 2015. But my seats are not confirm.So according to the rules a e ticket holder cannot travel in waiting list because the money is refunded. My question is that i must received the whole amount because railway could not offer me the seat, i have not cancelled the ticket. but they have deducted the Rs.140 out of Rs. 500. I would be convinced if i have cancelled.continued

I want to share my idea on how to prevent deaths due to falling from overcrowded local trains, however, I have been unable to get information on whom to contact. I have already written to Hon'ble Railway Minister and Hon'ble CM Maharashtra.

respected sir har Train me TTE hote hai aur kuch constable bhi scort ke sath hai mera ye kahana tha ki TTE ki recruitment ek jawan ki tarah ho unhe arm provide ki jaye aur TTE ka kam liya zaye zisase kam staff ki jarurat padegi thank you

This MSG for Mumbai Government.Govt have No need to Increase Rail Fair Because Lots of People Travel Without Ticket In Local Train. Govt have to design a structure for Employment in railway like every coach you appoint a TC. People stop Travel without Ticket and Automatically Govt Rail Income will Increase and Also Govt provide lots of employment to people.At list You have to try it for 1 year after that implement it.

govt have lots of railway wastage which is not useful and occupied a space every city. I suggest That wastage you have to sell to Generate the income and Start New Train and also Reduce the Fair of Railway. if Govt do this then Railway sector is came out from Loss.

Please privatise the #RAILWAY #STATION by fixing some basic norms and policies. By this 1 ~ Govt is making money 2~ customer satisfaction Heard about privatising of the same long time back but guess it will take another generation to put this in place . Government should understand that more than 40% of people in india use railways and improvisation of the same will create physical example for its citizen and citizens will be imprrssed and in turn re elect them without any second thought
